TWOJE-LAMPY.PL · RESPONSIBLE WASTE HANDLING
Old lighting?
Take it to the right place.
Light fittings and light sources need appropriate handling at the end of their useful life. Find take-back arrangements and specific electrical waste collection addresses below.
Where can you take it?
When buying new equipment: retailer take-back.
Without a purchase: an authorised collection point, such as a PSZOK.
Local addresses for Białystok and Hryniewicze are listed below.
Free take-back of household electrical equipment
At our point of sale

Electrical waste collection addresses
PSZOK Białystok
ul. 42 Pułku Piechoty 48
15-950 Białystok, Poland
On the MPO depot site.
The point accepts household electrical and electronic waste, among other waste categories.
PSZOK Hryniewicze
Hryniewicze — ZUOK site
16-061 Juchnowiec Kościelny, Poland
ZUOK phone: +48 85 678 49 95. The operator identifies the location as the ZUOK site, without a street number.
Before visiting, check opening hours and acceptance rules with PSZOK operator P.U.H.P. LECH and the City of Białystok. Eligibility depends, among other things, on where the waste arose. Not every point accepts business waste or waste from outside its municipal system.
For other locations, check your municipality’s waste management website for local PSZOK and authorised collection addresses. Do not send electrical waste in an ordinary parcel without arranging safe collection.
Preparing fittings and light sources for collection
The crossed-out wheeled bin marks equipment for separate collection. Do not put it in mixed municipal waste. Authorised collection supports material recovery and reduces the release of harmful substances.
Take electrical fittings and LED light sources to electrical waste collection. Protect fluorescent and other mercury-containing lamps against breakage; do not put them in glass packaging recycling bins. Do not dismantle equipment yourself. If batteries can be safely removed according to the instructions, use the appropriate battery collection system.
Traditional filament bulbs are excluded from the electrical waste act. Follow your local sorting rules; they are not glass packaging.
Further information: municipal guidance on electrical waste and fluorescent lamps and Poland’s Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection.
